Installation can be performed at an AMP center or AMP partner workshop near you, by our in-house on-site installation service, or by means of pick-up and delivery service of your Tesla. The offer depends on the scope of the installation and the location of your vehicle. If the installation option you require is not available for your location or the equipment you have selected, we will be happy to find an individual solution for you - please feel free to call our customer service department.

For the AMPTech components AMPTech grants a warranty for 4 years or 80.000km. Warranty restrictions of the Tesla components result (depending on the current warranty provision on the part of Tesla) only for the components to which the AMPTech components are directly attached. All other vehicle components (battery, motors, interior, axles, brakes, etc.) remain unaffected by a warranty restriction. These components are covered by Tesla's normal warranty policy. The current warranty conditions of Tesla Motors can be found on the homepage of Tesla, Inc. at https://www.tesla.com/support/vehicle-warranty.
If an object blocks the closing, an anti-jamming device prevents the closing and the operation is aborted. You can continue the operation at the touch of a button after removing the obstruction.
The AMPTech warranty covers all defects that occur within 4 years or 80,000km mileage from the date of purchase. Legal warranty claims are unaffected. You can find more information in our AGB.

AMPTech components are offered exclusively through our homepage. Not having a physical retail store allows us to keep the prices for AMPTech extensions to a minimum. If you would like a free telephone consultation or have any questions about the extensions, installation or other questions about AMPTech components, you have the option of contacting our telephone customer service or arranging a callback. Once you have decided on a solution, place it in your shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. You can view your shopping cart, add or remove components at any time by clicking the shopping cart icon. By clicking the "checkout" button you will be forwarded to the SSL-encrypted checkout area. Here you enter your invoice and delivery address, contact details and select a payment method that suits you. With a click on "Buy now" you complete the purchase. As soon as we have received your order, we will confirm this by sending you an order confirmation by email. Afterwards, if you choose the option "with installation service", we will arrange a suitable date for the installation of the components.
Workshops are accepted into the AMP Partner Workshop Program via unsolicited application or recommendation. Would you like to recommend a workshop or apply as a workshop? Please contact our customer service or send us your application with key data of your workshop (foundation, size, licenses and certificates, equipment, number of employees etc.) to partnerwerkstatt@amptech.store
All AMPTech components are absolutely maintenance-free. However, if you have any concerns, please feel free to contact our Customer Support at any time.
The car wash mode was introduced by Tesla with an OTA update at the end of 2020. As of January 2021, we have also created an update for the MK.II.V automatic boot control unit. If you have purchased your automatic boot system from January 2021, the update is already automatically on the control unit. If you have purchased your boot automation before then, you will have received an email from us with an update.
With the update, it is sufficient to activate the washer mode.
In general, without the update, the foot sensor is deactivated when:
- You are sitting in the vehicle and the vehicle is locked.
- You are being towed through a car wash and the vehicle is in N.
- You park the vehicle in the car wash, lock it and move away from the vehicle with the key and switch off the mobile phone key (switch off Bluetooth).
You have purchased a vehicle with an automatic boot system and are not sure whether the previous owner has already installed the update.
Open the luggage compartment and then activate the washing system mode. The boot will automatically lower if the update is present. If the boot does not close, please contact us at: support@amptech.store.
